To tell you the truth, I love winter. Not only the cold, but the whole mood and light source it provides us, especially taking photographs. So today, with my professional camera and after class, went searching for a place to take some shots before I go home. What caught my eye was these two benches next my the Heritage House. They're cracked and falling apart, but it combines so good with the natural light that gives that sense of mood into it. Take a look!

I love the texture and the color this bench gives in this shot, especially every crack, mold, and the pieces falling apart around the bench.

 I also love this one! Especially the green and yellow grass focus, and the bench and tree in a distance.

Day 7: My Treasure

Hey guys! Today I've done something a little different. Since I love books, I wanted to take the time to take photographs of my treasures. So the first photos I worked on were the very first books I had when I was a child.

Before telling you, can you guess which books they are?

If you answered Harry Potter, then you are correct!

Yes, Harry Potter, especially Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, was the first book and books I've ever had. And all thanks to my 3rd grade teacher and my childhood friends!

And I promise you, these are the oldest books I have in my possession (as for now), when we get later towards the 365 days, you'll see all my books in my "library" to make that comparison.

My books bring back good memories, every single time I read these books over and over, I feel like a child again. Every single time I get paid, I try to buy myself or my little sister a book, especially my sister so she could cherish these books, looking for more adventures rather than buying her video games or movies. I try to practice with her so that way when I have kids, I could easily find a way to have them read these beautiful masterpieces. Not only I'm encouraging myself and my sister, I also want to take the opportunity to encourage every single one of you, especially parents out there, to pick up a book, get together as family, and start reading! Because you never know what kind of adventure awaits!

Day 5: Last Day of Snow

Hey guys! Another day of my 365 Day Photography Project! Here's another shots of several areas where the snow had fallen.

This is the closest look at the mountains before the snow had melted a few hours later. Beautiful living here! And yes, there is an A on the mountain. It represents my former high school, and its beautiful tradition and history it holds. I will talk more about it later in my blog.

This was taken at Memorial Park, near a library and railroad tracks. There were kids still playing here with the leftover snow!

I do hope you like them all these photographs up until now, especially all the snow pictures in the past three days! Now that the sun is up and shining bright (except that it's still cold) let's see what photographs I capture this time!

Day 4

Hi! Another day, another photo! So here we go!

Woke up super early today to take a photo outside! Seems like the snow stick to the ground for a bit longer, hoping it won't melt for the afternoon. But the whole reason I took this photo was how the light is reflected from the snow to the cloud up in the sky! Lovely!

After finishing with work, I took the time to take photographs of these houses. I always wondered how people live up there, with all the clouds passing by them, and how much snow they had received.

 Zoom out a bit so you could see where these houses are located, and how much snow these mountains have!

Today it snowed a bit more. A little bit of snow was still at my front porch and the backyard, so I had a terrific time with my little sister playing with the snow. For sure, this snow will melt tomorrow and be very sunny day. But oh well, at least we had fun until it lasts.

Day 3 Part II Snow!

Welcome back for part II of Day 3 of the 365 Day Project! Yes sir! There's more photographs documented (wow, that sounded professional haha!) of this particular day! 

Whoa! Where did the mountain go?

There it is haha! 

After an hour or so, the snow stopped, and it started to melt.

Why is this day special you ask? It's just snow right? Well, ladies and gentleman, where I live it's a rare thing. In the matter of fact, we hardly get snow this much for a long period of time. When it snows, it only snows like about half an hour to the hour, then it melts away. So it's always a nice to see some white beauty outside our doors.

Day 3 Part I: SNOW!!!

Good morning blog peeps! Today is the day of changing events, or should I say changing weather? Remember my photo from yesterday? It was a warm (with a little bit of chilly air) day. Take a look on today's weather!

What other place to be to spend the day with family

This photograph was taken in my parent's house, at the kitchen, when we were about to prepare some hamburgers  and some soup for lunch! It's rather rare for my kitchen to have that warm contrast during the winter time. But, its always nice to have a reminder that there's always a warm welcome in a kitchen :)

I'm still working on my official website, I'm still figuring out how to do the gallery and the news section. But as for now, I have three pages completed!!!

Will be coming soon in a computer near you...

In the other hand, I will be posting photographs of the final product of my Art Foundation Final Project soon. I'm still working on the last 4 paintings, 2 based on my sister, and 2 others of myself.
