Well today was the day to turn in our final project. Unfortunately for me, I couldn't complete my goal of 12 of my own drawings. However, my professor and I discussed on permitting my sister draw herself and I in her own way to express her skills to the class! Will show more photos very soon!

However, once I get my portfolio back with my drawings, I will continue working the last 4 drawings and try to enter it in the student exhibition at school, or any future exhibitions during the Spring semester. I do hope so.

ARTF Final Project: My Sister at a Distant Future

My sister at a decent future

8 out of 12 done! In this one, I'm trying to foresee my sister's future. I used my mom's photo as a reference, but I had to tweak the eyes, nose, and mouth to fit to my sister's features.

ARTF Final Project: At age 3

My sister at age 3.

4 of 12 done! This time, I worked on it during my art class and it took all class period to finish it.

The photo that I use as reference, my sister looked sad. I tried to put a smile on her cute face, but my mom told me not to because she looks like a doll. I highly agreed with her

ARFT Final Project: WIP

1/12 done! Took me about 2 1/2 hours! In this project, I decided to use one of my favorite artist's techniques of using watercolor, Agnes Cecile, go check out her work!
I decided not to use 5 18x24" paper because I find it too big for doing this kind of idea. So instead, I'm using 11x14 Bristol paper. Even though watercolor paper could work better, I already bond with the Bristol paper as my favorite paper to use.
My idea will involve my little sister, and myself.

Art Foundation Final Project

In the next couple of weeks, I'll be working on my final projects for my basic art foundation class. In my project, it will consist of a series of 5 18"x24" drawings that expand on ideas that my class have dealt with in this particular term. This is my chance to play with my drawing/painting skills. This will look like a mini show of my best works at the end of semester.

This final project will be completed by Thursday, December 6th, 2012. I'll be posting my work in progress in my TumblrInstagramTwitterFacebook, and in my website if anyone wants to follow up my progress.

When it's completed, I'll be also be uploaded my DeviantArt page.

-------------

Anyways, I've been working on it for a couple of days to plan and find a technique that can be something new and rather fun to work with. I won't be doing the 5 18"x24" drawings as expected from my teacher. Instead, I'm going to be doing approximately 10-12 11"x14" drawings, featuring portraits of my sister and I. I'm also going to be using watercolors as inspiration on one of my favorite artist in deviantart =agnes-cecile.

The StoryTeller

This was one of my final compositions I've made for my beginning drawing classes before school ended. It's based on a small story I made with other four compositions.

Used: Ink Pens, Copic sketch markers (C1,C3,C5,C7), and red sharpie marker. Paper 11inx14in

Reference: I did used a reference, but the reference was really bad so I just did it the way I want it to be.

Took about 6-7 hours to complete.
